COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Airport (COS) says it is offering discounted parking during peak holiday travel times in November and December.
According to COS, long-term and overflow lots will have a $2 daily discount from November 25-29 and December 21-27. That means it will cost $6 a day to park during those weeks, instead of the usual $8.
"Holiday travel is about connecting with the people who matter most, and we want that journey to begin with ease at COS," Alex Kovacs, director of aviation, said in a press release. "Our holiday parking discount offers travelers additional savings alongside the convenience and friendly service they count on from their local airport."
The airport says standard rates will still apply outside of the promotion, and no coupon is required. Those who are parking during that time can exit through the staffed or automated lanes in the long-term lot.
The promotion does not apply to the short-term or valet lots, COS says. Airport officials say they recommend giving extra time to park due to an expected high number of parkers.
